June 30, 2007 · 4 Comments

thanks_to_paan_paraag_2.jpg

GAS IS CHEAP !!!!

June 30, 2007 · No Comments

All these examples do NOT imply that gasoline is cheap;
it just illustrates how outrageous some prices are….
You will be really shocked by the last one!!!!
(At least, I was…)

Gasoline.
Think a gallon of gas is expensive?
This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.
Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 … $10.32 per gallon
Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 ……….$9.52 per gallon
Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 …. $10.17 per gallon
Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ……… $10.00 per gallon
Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ……… $33.60 per gallon
Vick’s Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 … $178.13 per gallon
Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon
Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ……. . $25.42 per gallon
Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 …..$84.48 per gallon
And this is the REAL KICKER…
Evian water 9 oz $1.49……….$21.19 per gallon!

$21.19 for WATER
and the buyers don’t even know the source.
(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

Ever wonder why printers are so cheap? So they have you hooked for the ink.
Someone calculated the cost of the ink at……………
you won’t believe it………………
but it is true…………………….
$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)

So, the next time you’re at the pump,
be glad your car doesn’t run on
water, Scope, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil
or God forbid, Printer Ink!!!!!

Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump…
And - If you don’t pass this along to at least one person,
your muffler will fall off!!

HOW A SON/DAUGHTER THINKS OF HIS/HER DAD AT DIFFERENT AGES:

June 29, 2007 · 2 Comments

HOW A SON/DAUGHTER THINKS OF HIS/HER DAD AT DIFFERENT AGES:

At 4 Years - My daddy is great.
At 6 Years - My daddy knows everybody.
At 10 Years - My daddy is good but is short tempered
At 12 Years - My daddy was very nice to me when I was young.
At 14 Years - My daddy is getting fastidious.
At 16 Years - My daddy is not in line with the current times.
At 18 Years - My daddy is becoming increasingly cranky.
At 20 Years - Oh! It is becoming difficult to tolerate daddy. Wonder how Mother puts up with him.
At 25 Years - Daddy is objecting to everything.
At 30 Years - It is becoming difficult to manage my son.Iwas so scared of my father when I was young.
At 40 Years - Daddy brought me up with so much discipline. Even I should do the same.
At 45 Years - I am baffled as to how my daddy brought us up.
At 50 Years - My daddy faced so many hardships to bring us up. I am unable to manage a single son.
At 55 Years - My daddy was so far sighted and planned so many things for us. He is one of his kind and unique.
At 60 Years - My daddy is great.

Thus, it took 56 years to complete the cycle and come back to the 1st
stage. Realize the true value of your parents before its too late.

Price of the Bracelet!

June 29, 2007 · 1 Comment

A lady walks into a high class jewellery shop. She browses around, spots a beautiful diamond bracelet and walks over to inspect it.

As she bends over to look more closely she inadvertently breaks wind.

Very embarrassed, she looks around nervously to see if anyone has noticed her little accident and prays that a sales person doesn’t pop up right now.

As she turns around, her worst nightmare materialises in the form of a salesman standing right behind her.

Cool as a cucumber and displaying complete professionalism, the salesman greets the lady with, ‘Good day, Madam. How may we help you today?’

Very uncomfortably, but hoping that the salesman may just not have been there at the time of her little ‘accident’, she asks, ‘Sir, what is the price of this lovely bracelet?’

He answers, ‘Madam, if you farted just looking at it, you’re going to shit yourself when I tell you the price.”

Wisdom of the day…

June 29, 2007 · No Comments

LIVE TODAY, ACT TODAY, BE YOUR SELF EVERYDAY.

NEVER CRY FOR ANY RELATION IN LIFE,BECAUSE FOR THE ONE WHOM YOU CRY,DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR TEARS AND THE ONE WHO DESERVES WILL NEVER LET YOU CRY.

TREAT EVERYONE WITH POLITENESS,EVEN THOSE WHO ARE RUDE TO YOU,

NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NICE BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE NICE.

NEVER SEARCH YOUR HAPPINESS IN OTHERS,WHICH WILL MAKE YOU FEEL ALONE, RATHER SEARCH IT IN YOURSELF YOU WILL FEEL HAPPY EVEN IF YOU ARE LEFT ALONE.

ALWAYS  HAVE A POSITIVE ATTITUDE IN LIFE.THERE IS SOMETHING POSITIVE IN EVERY PERSON EVEN A STOPPED WATCH IS RIGHT TWICE A DAY.

June 29, 2007 · 1 Comment

This day is yours,Don’t throw it away!

June 27, 2007 · 1 Comment

I asked God to take away my habit.*

God said, No.”It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.”

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.

God said, No.”His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary”

I asked God to grant me patience.

God said, No.”Patience is a byproduct of tribulations; it isn’t granted, it is learned.”

I asked God to give me happiness.

God said, No.”I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.”

I asked God to spare me pain.

God said, No.”Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow.

God said, No.”You must grow on your own! , but I will prune you to make you fruitful.”

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.

God said, No.”I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.”

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.

God said…Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.

THIS DAY IS YOURS DON’T THROW IT AWAY.
